Refund Policy

At FINITY IT BD, we aim to provide reliable, professional, and high-quality digital and IT services to clients worldwide. Because our services include customized development, design, consulting, hosting, digital marketing, and other professional work, refund eligibility depends on the type of service purchased and the stage of the project. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may or may not be available.

1. General Refund Policy

Before starting a project or service, clients are encouraged to review the agreed scope, pricing, deliverables, timeline, and payment terms.

Once work has started, refunds may be limited because resources, development time, design work, infrastructure, licenses, and third-party services may already have been committed.

Any refund will be evaluated based on:

  • The type of service
  • Work already completed
  • Project stage
  • Costs already incurred
  • Third-party fees
  • Client-provided requirements
  • The applicable service agreement

Where a separate written agreement contains specific refund terms, that agreement will take precedence.

2. Website Design & Development

Website design and development projects are generally customized for each client.

Payments made toward:

  • UI/UX design
  • Website development
  • Custom programming
  • Content integration
  • Database development
  • API integration
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • Project management

may become non-refundable once the corresponding work has started.

Before Work Begins

If a client cancels before FINITY IT BD begins work, a refund may be considered after deducting any applicable administrative, transaction, or preparation costs.

After Work Begins

Once significant work has started, refunds may not be available for completed work or resources already committed to the project.

3. Project Deposits

For custom projects, FINITY IT BD may require an upfront deposit before work begins.

The deposit reserves development resources and allows us to begin planning, design, development, and other project activities.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, project deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

4. Cancellation by the Client

A client may request cancellation of a project or service by contacting FINITY IT BD in writing.

If cancellation is requested:

  • Before work begins, a refund may be considered.
  • After work begins, the refundable amount may be reduced based on completed work.
  • Completed deliverables are generally not refundable.
  • Third-party expenses may be deducted.
  • Custom development already performed may be non-refundable.

Any applicable refund will be calculated based on the actual status of the project.

5. Website Hosting

Hosting services are recurring services that involve infrastructure and resource allocation.

Because hosting resources may be provisioned specifically for a client, hosting payments are generally non-refundable after the service has been activated or the billing period has started, except where otherwise required by applicable law or specifically agreed upon.

If a hosting service has not yet been provisioned, a refund request may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

6. Domain Registration & Renewal

Domain registration and renewal fees are generally non-refundable after a domain has been successfully registered or renewed.

This is because domain registration transactions are processed through third-party registrars and registries.

Refunds may not be available for:

  • Domain registration
  • Domain renewal
  • Domain transfer fees
  • Premium domain fees
  • Registry charges
  • Related third-party domain services

Clients should carefully verify the domain name before requesting registration.

7. SSL, Licenses & Third-Party Services

Payments for third-party products and services may be non-refundable after purchase or activation.

These may include:

  • SSL certificates
  • Premium themes
  • Plugins
  • Software licenses
  • APIs
  • Cloud services
  • Hosting infrastructure
  • External subscriptions
  • Stock assets
  • Third-party tools

Where a third-party provider does not offer a refund, FINITY IT BD may be unable to provide a refund for that portion of the service.

8. Website Maintenance

Maintenance services may include:

  • Updates
  • Security monitoring
  • Backups
  • Bug fixes
  • Performance optimization
  • Technical support
  • Content updates

Once a maintenance period has started, payments for that active period are generally non-refundable.

Unused maintenance time may not automatically be converted into cash refunds.

9. SEO & Digital Marketing Services

SEO and digital marketing services involve ongoing work and resources, including:

  • Keyword research
  • Competitor research
  • SEO strategy
  • Technical optimization
  • Content planning
  • Campaign management
  • Analytics
  • Reporting
  • Advertising management

Because these activities require work from the beginning of a campaign, SEO and digital marketing service fees are generally non-refundable once the service has started.

No Guaranteed Search Ranking

SEO performance depends on search engines, competition, industry conditions, website quality, content, algorithm changes, and many other factors.

Therefore, payment is for the agreed professional services and work performed—not a guaranteed search ranking, traffic level, lead volume, or revenue amount.

10. AI Solutions & Software Services

AI development, automation, software development, API integration, and custom technology services may involve significant research, development, infrastructure, and third-party costs.

Once development or implementation begins, payments associated with completed work are generally non-refundable.

Third-party API, cloud, software, model, or infrastructure charges may also be non-refundable.

11. App Development

Mobile application projects may include:

  • UI/UX design
  • Front-end development
  • Backend development
  • API integration
  • Database development
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • App Store or Google Play preparation

Payments for completed development stages are generally non-refundable once the relevant work has been delivered or substantially completed.

App Store or Google Play review and approval decisions are controlled by the respective platforms and are outside FINITY IT BD’s direct control.

12. Digital Products

If FINITY IT BD provides digital products, downloadable resources, templates, software, or other digital goods, refunds may not be available once the product has been delivered or access has been provided, unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page.

13. Client Delays

Refunds may not be provided because of delays caused by the client.

This may include failure to provide:

  • Content
  • Images
  • Branding materials
  • Login credentials
  • Technical access
  • Feedback
  • Approvals
  • Required information

If a project remains inactive for an extended period due to client-side delays, FINITY IT BD may place the project on hold or treat it as completed according to the applicable agreement.

14. Change of Mind

A change of mind after work has started does not automatically qualify for a refund.

For example, refunds may not be available simply because a client:

  • Changes their business direction
  • No longer needs the website
  • Changes their design preference
  • Decides not to launch the project
  • Finds another service provider
  • Changes their business plan

We encourage clients to communicate their requirements clearly before approving a project.

15. Revision Requests

Reasonable revisions included within the agreed project scope will be handled according to the project agreement.

Requests that significantly change the original scope may require additional fees.

A request for additional features or a change in direction does not automatically qualify the client for a refund.

16. Service Failure

If FINITY IT BD fails to deliver a service substantially according to the agreed scope, the client should contact us as soon as possible.

We will first attempt to:

  1. Understand the issue
  2. Correct the problem
  3. Provide a reasonable solution
  4. Complete outstanding agreed deliverables where applicable

If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, a partial or full refund may be considered depending on the circumstances and the amount of work already completed.

17. Duplicate Payments

If a client accidentally makes a duplicate payment for the same invoice, the client should contact us promptly.

After verification, the duplicate amount may be refunded or applied toward another outstanding invoice, subject to applicable payment processing fees.

18. Payment Processing Fees

Where a refund is approved, payment processing, transaction, currency conversion, or third-party charges may be deducted where applicable and legally permissible.

The final refunded amount may therefore differ from the original amount paid.

19. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, contact:

Email: support@finitybd.com

Please include:

  • Client name
  • Invoice number
  • Service purchased
  • Payment date
  • Amount paid
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Relevant project or service information

We may request additional information to verify the payment and evaluate the request.

20. Refund Review

Refund requests are reviewed individually based on:

  • The applicable service
  • Project status
  • Work completed
  • Contractual terms
  • Third-party expenses
  • Payment processing costs
  • The reason for cancellation
  • Applicable laws and regulations

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.

21. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, FINITY IT BD will generally process it through the original payment method where technically possible.

The time required for the funds to appear in the client’s account may depend on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, or financial institution.

22. Non-Refundable Services

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the following are generally non-refundable after activation, purchase, or commencement:

  • Domain registration and renewal
  • Hosting after activation
  • Completed website development work
  • Completed design work
  • Custom software development
  • Completed AI development work
  • SEO services already performed
  • Digital marketing services already performed
  • Third-party licenses
  • SSL certificates
  • Premium plugins and themes
  • API charges
  • Cloud infrastructure charges
  • Other third-party services

23. Fraudulent or Abusive Transactions

Refunds may be withheld while FINITY IT BD investigates suspected:

  • Payment fraud
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Account abuse
  • Unauthorized transactions
  • Misrepresentation
  • Attempts to obtain services without payment

Where appropriate, FINITY IT BD may suspend associated services during an investigation.

24. Chargebacks

Clients are encouraged to contact FINITY IT BD before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

If a payment dispute is filed without first attempting to resolve a legitimate billing issue with us, FINITY IT BD may provide relevant transaction records, invoices, project communications, and service information to the payment provider during the dispute process.

25. Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, FINITY IT BD may choose to provide a partial or full refund outside the standard terms of this policy.

Such exceptions are made at our discretion and do not create an obligation to provide the same exception in future cases.

26. Changes to This Refund Policy

FINITY IT BD may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, payment methods, business practices, or applicable requirements.

The latest version published on this page will represent the current policy.
